A warm and cozy atmosphere where time seems to have stopped: this is the agriturismo “La Canestra”, located in Capitignano. It offers several rooms with plenty of comforts, as well as a restaurant where you can taste some of the best dishes in Abruzzo.

Inside the small hamlet of Aglioni you will find the rooms, the restaurant, the labs where the products are handled, and two wood ovens used to cook bread and sweets. You can also taste the dishes of the local tradition, prepared following ancient peasant recipes and the own products of the agriturismo.

You will find the restaurant inside a wooden structure with large windows that let you admire the relaxing landscape offered by the garden, the botanical garden, the cultivated fields, the animal enclosures, the woods, and the surrounding mountains.

Beppe and Bruna, the two owners, welcome their guests, and every morning prepare for them a rich breakfast composed of milk, coffee, tea, yogurt, Bundt cake, pies, homemade biscuits, honey, jams, and fresh ricotta.

The rooms are scattered around the hamlet following the formula of the albergo diffuso: there is a total of 6 bedrooms and 21 beds, and every room is furnished with old and rustic furniture, and it has an independent entrance and a private bathroom.
